Pre-Order & Deposit Information
Why should I place a pre-order?:
Placing a pre-order is a way to secure a product for yourself, which has recently been announced from a company and is due to be produced / released at a later date.
Due to a lot of items being produced in limited numbers or as an exclusive, placing a pre-order for an item allocates one or more of the item for yourself, so once the stock has become available from the manufacturer we shall be able to supply yourself with the item(s) as soon as possible, without the worry of having missed out on the item(s).
Pre-order estimation dates:
All products noted as a pre-order will show an estimated date of arrival. The date(s) shown is the information we have been provided by the manufacturer / supplier at the time of order and are purely estimates, as unfortunately there is no guarantee the original date(s) provided shall be the exact time frame the product arrives with ourselves or fellow retailers as these dates are purely an estimate as delays can and do occur during manufacturing and shipping.
We shall endeavour to keep all listings as up to date as possible, but we aren't always updated directly ourselves, so if the date has passed and the item is still showing as a pre-order then the item has unfortunately slipped past the original estimate provided to us and is still yet to arrive with ourselves.
What happens if I place an order with an in stock item and a pre-order item?:
We will only ship an order once all items are available to ship, as we will always do our best to keep postage costs as low for yourself as possible, which means only charging one postage fee per order, or free postage if the order is over £50.00. However if you would ever wish to have any items split from an order with items which haven't yet come in that wouldn't be an issue and feel free to drop us an email at sales@propsandreplicas.co.uk
If you place an order of pre-order items which have different release dates, then we would not process the order until all items on the order have become available, so if you would like the items to ship as they arrive we ask you to place these as separate orders.
How do you take payment for pre-ordered products?
We charge a 10% deposit of the overall cost of the product to secure an item for yourself. For example if a product costs £10.00 we ask for £1.00 to be paid as a deposit to secure an item for yourself, which shall be deducted from the overall cost of the item once the item is available for shipment. Or you may make payment in full, in which case once the item is in stock the order will be dispatched with no delay.
Once we have received notification of stock arriving to us, which is generally a 48-24 hour notice we shall process balance invoices for any amount still due on a pre-order which we shall send via the email registered to the order which we allow 30 days for payment on. Do you oversell on pre-orders?
The simple answer is no. We only ever sell what we have placed on order or have been allocated by the supplier. As we never want to let you down and have to cancel any orders.
Can I cancel a Pre-Order?
You may cancel any order at anytime up until the order has been marked as shipped as under UK consumer law you have the full right to cancel any order and receive a full refund of the money paid prior to an order being shipped.
If wishing to cancel an order then please email us at sales@propsandreplicas.co.uk and state your name and/or order number plus the item(s) you wish to cancel.
What if a pre-order item is cancelled by the supplier / manufacturer?
If a supplier / manufacturer decides to cancel any product prior to release that has been placed on pre-order, we will notify yourself as soon as possible & any money paid on the order will be refunded in full back to the form of payment used as soon as possible.
Un-paid invoices:
If we do not hear from you and a pre-order invoice is not paid for within 30 days and we have sent a seven day final reminder for payment with no payment or message received back from yourself by the end of the seven days, we shall cancel the order and release the stock and the deposit paid shall not be refunded due admin costs, as a service has been provided attempting to process the order on several occasions.
